Kung Fu

Warrior Spirit is not only an organization, it is a character trait that each of us can cultivate. At Warrior Spirit, we are dedicated to the preservation of traditional Chinese martial arts and holistic approaches to health and well being, without ignoring the obvious benefits of modern day interpretations. The goal of the school is to bring people into the best possible environment in which to learn traditional Kung Fu and to provide a peaceful, yet energetic atmosphere to motivate and inspire our students.

Warrior Spirit is proud to announce our new location at Yonge and York Mills, inside the Yonge and York Mills Center.  This location is very convenient as it is right inside the plaza, next to the entrance of the Yonge and York Mills subway station in the Cardio Go Studio. Parking is also available.

Styles

A student at the school can choose from three different styles of Kung Fu including Tai Chi Chuan. When deciding which style one wishes to study, it is important to remember that each has its own training methodology and it is always best to come and watch or try a class before making any decisions. Each style has a great deal to offer, and no style is better than the others; your decision simply determines which style is best for you. If you would like to try a class, simply call ahead for more details.

Instruction

Our highly qualified and respected instructors teach their passion, and share their skills with individuals who want to learn the rare and ancient art of Shaolin Kung Fu. We aim to provide comprehensive programs for both beginners and experienced martial artists, so that each student can get the most out of the school and achieve his or her personal best.

Our balanced approach to martial arts training allows students to learn about the combative and health aspects of Shaolin Kung Fu, including meditation, physical training and nutrition. Both the experience and the exercise obtained from classes will replenish the mind, strengthen the body and awaken the spirit - all important qualities that are needed to function in our busy lives.
